A multi-hyphenate performer, creator and recording artist, Dyllón Burnside has appeared in notable stage, television and film projects with some of the best in the business. He starred as 'Ricky' in Ryan Murphy’s Emmy-nominated FX series, "Pose" alongside Billy Porter and Mj Rodriguez. And appears in FX Anthology series American Horror Stories. Dyllón first captivated audiences with his Broadway debut, starring as Anthony in 2014’s Holler if Ya Hear Me, a hip-hop musical inspired by the music and lyrics of Tupac Shakur. He also appeared as a Lost Boy in NBC’s "Peter Pan Live!" and in the critically-acclaimed series "High Maintenance'' on HBO, all while completing his final year at the prestigious CAP21 Conservatory for music theatre and The New School where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies and Writing. Additionally, Dyllón hosted and produced the PBS special PRIDELAND that aired June 2020, which won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Daytime Short form Non-Fiction Program and was nominated for a GLAAD award (Outstanding TV Journalism Long-form). In the hour-long special, he traveled through the American South to uncover LGBTQ+ stories. Dyllón is a recipient of the Human Rights Campaign Visibility Award and the Southern Champion Award from the Southern AIDS coalition for his work as an artist and global advocate.

He is also passionate about providing quality arts programming and training to youth in underserved communities. For many years, he produced an annual toy drive and concert called ‘Christmas in the City’ in his hometown of Pensacola, Florida where hundreds of kids and families received gifts and enjoyed performances by some of the areas most gifted artists. He has also taught performing arts workshops and spoken at schools across the country about the importance of arts education as a means of personal empowerment and self-expression. In addition, he also served as a producer on the award winning short film, “The Jump” and “Hold Up The Light,” a theatrical event at DC’s Arena Stage.
